"Souls and Machines" (Máquinas & Almas - arte digital e nuevos medios)

I sommer hadde jeg et stopp i Madrid. "Stopp" er flyvertinnespråk og betyr overnatting. Hva skulle man så gjøre med et døgn i Madrid? Jeg fant ut at Museet for moderne kunst (Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía) tilfeldigvis lå rett ved siden av hotellet. Der var en fantastisk utstilling som tar for seg hvordan kunst og vitenskap beveger seg i parallelle baner. Teknologisk fremskritt begrenses av vår menneskelighet - "Computers do not think; they replicate our thoughts. They do not feel; they replicate our emotions (...) they are the psychological mirror we gaze into." (1) "Souls & machines" kartlegger konseptuelle strategier i forhold til nye medier, deriblant bioteknologi, datateknologi, robotikk.

Selvfølgelig er det noen kunstnere man legger mer merke til enn andre, dette reflekterer ens egne interesser og preferanser. Slik som:
